The O1 is the compact pour-over brewer from Orea, a London brand. It is made from a single piece of Tritan and weighs 52 g. It is sized for one cup, 10 to 18 g of coffee for 160 to 300 ml, and its small body lets you bring the kettle spout close to the coffee bed for finer control of the flow.
The base is open: the paper rests on a ledge and dips slightly in the middle, which steers the water towards the centre of the bed. 155-size wave papers such as the Orea Wave 155 just drop in. Flat papers such as the Orea Flat 155 need a tool like Orea's Negotiator, which is not included. The clear version is see-through, like glass. Orea's brewing guides come in the box. Made in Taiwan.
